NARRATIVE REPORT
1ST quarter national simultaneous earthquake drill

At exactly 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon at 11 of march 2021, when the first 30-secord alarm, the
teachers to seek shelter and protect themselves wherever they were situated.

They also performed duck, cover and hold under desks, tables or chairs and
remained in such position until the shocking stop. And then, on the 20 second lull period, the teachers
started to evacuate from the room/building to the designated evacuation areas.

The evacuation of the teacher would be in buddy-buddy and they would not run, would not
shout but they walked faster than the normal walked they had.
 As they performed the drill, they felt as it happened in reality. They behaved well and follow
what their instruction.

The third alarm which is 15-second , this signifies the occurence of an “ AFTERSHOCK” the
teacher still in their evacuation area and right after the occurrence of the aftershock.

Any sustained injuries and if in case they have report it to the Disaater Action Team (DAT).
And after checking and accounted all their teacters, and the team leader gave the “ALL CLEAR SIGNAL”,
this signifies the termination of the earthquake drill. The teachers successfully returned to their
respective rooms.
