Statement of Purpose

In the age of globalization, it is crucial to have a broad and refined international outlook. The
United Kingdom boasts an excellent cultural atmosphere and highly developed commercial
sector, as well as sophistication in the humanities and areas of scientific and technological
advancement. For these reasons, I hope to acquire management knowledge in the UK and
learn from reputable professors with outstanding research facilities. In such a setting, I will be
constantly exposed to skills and ideas that will enable me to develop into a management
professional with virtually unlimited potential.
I've always been skilled at planning things and was in charge of school events since I was a
child. I was the captain of the school's cricket team and organised other activities. My parents
are both role models for me, as they manage their career and personal lives to the best of their
abilities. They never forced or pressured me to take the same road as them; instead, they
constantly encouraged me to pursue my ambitions. I discovered I'd always wanted to work in
business, and they encouraged me in every move I made.
During my High School Diploma, From the Government Polytechnic Nashik, provided me
with a strong foundation in technical subjects. I was awarded as Silver Medallist of
Mechanical Engineering Department in 2018. Not only at Zonal level but at Institute level
sports events I was Captained Mechanical Engineering Department’s team of cricket and we
were Runner up at that time.Apart from this,I was head of Event Planing Head of
Convocation-2018.
After Diploma ,My First degree (B.Tech.in Mechanical) from Vishwakarma Institute Of
Technology,Pune provided me sound and practical knowledge how the several industrial
process flows, Different methodology that boost the revenue as well as brand reputation in
this globalised competitive market. I was elected as Technical Head of Mechanical
Engineering Department which was one of best honour for me. Also the Trainer at
Atmabodh-Computer Literacy Workshop for senior citizens. I underwent industrial training
at CEAT Tyres Pvt Ltd during my undergraduate studies. This internship allowed me to gain
direct experience in many elements of manufacturing processes while learning about the
practical intricacies.
Six-Months Industrial internship at Power Cab Industries allowed me to gain details of
production planning, Different process to achieve desired production target and I have done
one of project at Power Cab Industries which results in to reduce the lead time by 4%
At Efficient Engineering works, I began working as a management Trainee where,I have
assisted established management staff with operational oversight, business development and
process improvement strategies, Communicated with more 25 vendors regarding order
availability, future inventory and special orders. Also co-ordinated for Reducing waste and
pursued revenue development strategies to keep department aligned with sales and profit
targets.And planned, designed, tested and deployed more than 70 different products in one
UK is the most popular destination with regard to international studies since it is home to
highly ranked and reputed educational institutions. The country is known for its relaxed and
welcoming nature along with its multicultural and cosmopolitan ambiance. The education
system here emphasizes majorly on practical and theoretical knowledge while offering
diverse courses and degrees for students as well. The educational experience is more tailored
towards real life instances and examples too. There are grants and laws for international
students while post-work study eligibility is also there for a period of 2 years. Facilities and
infrastructure are top-notch to say the least.
Thus, I decided to study master’s in Management at University of Strathclyde after working
in the industry and understanding my interest inclination towards this sector. My long term
plan is to become a domain expert in Management and Entrepreneurship. The course at
University of Strathclyde will arm me with knowledge about Economics for Managers,
Management Consulting, Managing Operations, Strategic Management, Accounting and
Finance, Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain Management etc. The University of Strathclyde,
Management School is one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to hold the gold
standard 'triple-crown' accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. This will allow for
an in-depth understanding of the concepts and decision-making skills under Marketing and
consumer needs and understanding. MSc Management programs at your university
ranked 6th in the UK and 28th in the world by QS World University Rankings. Thus, I
will have the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the strategies employed by
financial institutions and the instruments at their disposal. Studying at University of
Strathclyde will fetch me a great alumni networking circle and will introduce me to students
and professors from around the world. My leadership and communication skills have always
been my strength, and I am sure at University of Strathclyde I will be able to utilize my
industry experience and leadership skills in the most fruitful way.
After graduating, I see myself leading a team in an organizational setup, involved in the
digital aspect of Business Management, as I believe that the digital technology has
completely revolutionized how the market works. Alternatively, I see myself leading my own
organization or venture involved in the food sector. With this in mind, I have decided to
apply for the master’s in management at University of Strathclyde after having worked in the
industry and understanding my inclination towards this sector. I feel confident that my
background would help me make the most of the program and unleash my true potential. I
look forward to being a strong addition to your university.
