Day 1
March 14, 2023 was the day that we started our deployment at Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial
Highschool. We were first called at the schools AVR for a short briefing and orientation with the
School principal of DPLMHS Mr. Zandro G. Sepe, M.S, Ms. Cristina G. Columbres Department
Head of English and our Supervising Teacher Mrs. Aiza Sikandal Arasa. The orientation was all
about the do’s and don’ts that us student teachers need to follow. First is that our Coordinating
Teacher must always be present whenever we teach, so our coordinating teacher can start
observing our classes. As well as they can guide through the class. With a few reminders our
meeting has come to an end. We were instructed to look for corresponding Coordinating
Teachers for further instructions. As instructed I went straight away to my Coordinating Teacher
Mr. Jonathan Kawaguchi MT III. I was given by Mr. Kawaguchi three topics, topics that I will
be teaching two of his classes. His advisory class 10-Reimann and 10-Ohm. But befor4e teaching
I was tasked to make a lesson plan for the 3 topics. I was tasked to start teaching on Thursday
March 16, 2023. I was given two days to start doing my lesson plan and submit it to my
coordinating teacher for correction and make instructional materials as well. My first day might
be short, but it was a memorable day because it mark the start of our three month journey as a
student teacher.
