1. INTRODUCTION

According to the requirements of the contract, before the commencement of the site

construction, the PMC and PDOC representative should witness the product

manufacture and the process of WPS. So CPP make this FAT and WPS plan and

schedule to arrange a efficient and reasonable witness.

Based on the agreement between CPP and RAM, the FAT of composite material(3X

Engg.) and the coating material(STOPAQ) will be arranged by RAM ENERGY. The

FAT of mechanical sleeve and witness of WPS, WQT will be executed by CPP in

China. The brief arrangement has been listed as follows.

2. Prerequisite of FAT, WPS and WQT

1. PMC and PDOC examine and approve the sleeve drawing;

2. Procurement of mechanical sleeve raw material has been completed after sleeve

drawing has been approve;

3. Procurement of pipeline and fitting used in WPS has been completed. Experiment

platform has been prepared ready.

4. Mechanics Lab is ready and WPS and WQT plan has approved by PMC and

PDOC.
5. Welder is ready.

3. Main Workloads

1. FAT
1) Check the qualification and certificate of the factory;
2) Witness the manufacture procedures of mechanical sleeve including material

preparation, rolling, cutting ,milling, etc.

2. WPS
1) Material procurement;
2) Build experiment platform and establish circulation system;
3) Equipments are ready;
4) Welding sleeves;
5) NDT
6) Preparation of specimens;
7) Mechanical test;
8) Issue WPS and PQR

1) 8 welders who participate in the WPS experiments will automatically

awarded the qualification.
