Secularization became the path to the education of the native inhabitants.
The priest, Father Burgos, coined the term "Filipino" to refer to the natives
and the seed of nationalism bloomed because of it. The death of the
GomBurZa catalyzed this national consciousness.

2. How did the secularization influence the Propaganda movement?


As said earlier, the death of GomBurZa catalyzed the national
consciousness of Filipinos. This influenced illustrados, reformists, and
revolutionists to act. They made actions to make the Philippines a better
place to live in.

for the Philippines?
Through education and to unite the islands as one. This is evident in
objectives of the La Liga Filipina. The propaganda movement made the
people visualize what a nation is.

4. What were the objective of the propaganda for progress in the country?
They aimed for equality and freedom. This is why they tried really hard
for reform movements and later on, the revolution.
