1. why is climate change not being addressed as urgent as it should be by our national
leaders?

- For me, climate change is the reflection of the status of our society right. In today’s
priority, the health of human being was to consider first because of the situation that
COVID_19 was present and I guess the government was focusing to these phenomena,
that why government haven’t discussed about the climate.

2. In what ways are your local communities affected by climate change?

- Through flush floods, mads that surround their backyards, mosquitos are present
because of the retain waters, person experiencing some fevers, antarctica losing their
polar bears, iceberg are melting and the water level are increasing that may affect sea
water level to the whole, and when it comes in the rainy season especially the
Philippines we can’t penetrate the effects of the massive rain fall because almost of the
trees in the whole country are all cut down, the reason why we can’t sustain the trees
because of the “kaingin, mining, and using the trees to do furniture.

3. Give a recommendation to our local government on how to contribute in global

efforts to mitigate or slow down climate change How does climate change affect
health and security?

- The most common thing is to plant some trees and mangroves, recycling plastic bottles
and turn in to a figurine, plant pots, furniture and etc. Build low-carbon, resilient cities,
Implement climate-smart agriculture and nurture forest landscapes, Increased energy
efficiency and use of renewable energy. Implement climate-smart agriculture and

Well for me, my ideal society was no one in hunger, every family have their own comfortable house
and the occupation or the work of the parents was consistent, the technology improves the daily life
of the society, of course it includes the healthy life style, the pollution in water and air are not
present, the waste of the human being can turn into a source of electricity, and healthy and clean
society.

The ideal economy for me is that every waste of the people they have machine that can sustain a
electricity to their own houses like a solar-panels, if we pursue and make it more useful in our
environment I’m pretty sure that our economy will no longer pay for bills in electricity. Another
thing is using a wind mill, it just like a solar-panels but it depends on the wind. Also, the water mill or
river mill that depends on the water or a running water like river or sea.

Well for me, the greatest invention in the world that helps a lot and build a history is internet,
computer and electricity. Without this invention, the world lived in a historical stone age or like a
traditional-tribes in the forest. If we looked or compare the technology of the people in the past,
there is a great improvement to it and the life of the people are more easy than before just like this
pandemic, if we want to see a person or conduct a meeting to them, all we want to do is get our
phone on it and then call or on a wi-fi or data in your phone and call someone, fast and convenient.
