Preparation For The SNBT 2023 UNNES

Sekaran, Semarang - Semarang State University (UNNES) opens a lot of quotas in the National
Selection Based on Test (SNBT) in 2023. UNNES provides 3,333 seats spread across 70 accredited
Study Programs (Prodi), with each program having a different capacity. 2023 high school graduates
can choose their interested major.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zaenuri Mastur, SE. Msi. Akt. suggests that prospective
students need to prepare thoroughly to increase their chances of being accepted into the 2023 SNBT.
One of the preparations is to check the number of applicants in the previous year to estimate the
chances of qualifying for the 2023 SNBT. He explains that “students can choose undergraduate,
applied undergraduate, or diploma study programs.” Considering that in 2022, there were 41,641
participants who chose UNNES, the competition for the 3,333 SNBT seats is very tight. In addition,
the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zaenuri Mastur, SE. Msi. Akt., explains that the
implementation of the UTBK-SNBT UNNES is carried out in two waves: Batch 1 on May 8–14, 2023,
and Batch 2 on May 22–28, 2023. He says "UTBK is carried out in 2 waves, per wave of 7 days,
namely Monday-Sunday, while every day two sessions are held, namely morning and afternoon
sessions,"

Maulana Muhammad Majid, one of the SNBT 2023 UNNES Examination participants, chooses to
study at UNNES because it is close to his house. He starts the SNBT test on May 13, 2023, and is
preparing for it. He said "I, Maulana Muhammad Majid, choose UNNES because it is close to where I
live by choosing the Department of Health and Recreation Physical Education. Alhamdulillah, I
prepared myself long ago, so I am ready to take part in this SNBT."

The UNNES Chancellor, Prof. Dr. S. Martono Msi., says that 10,000 participants registered at UNNES.
UNNES has prepared facilities and Human Resources (HR) to support the successful implementation
of the UTBK-SNBT 2023. The implementation of UTBK 2023 at Unnes will be held in two locations,
namely the Digital Center Building and the Unnes Archive Building. There are 790 computers for
participants and 90 spare computers. There will be 10,000 more participants participating in UTBK at
Unnes. Prof. Martono says that they are technically very ready. The location for SNBT at UNNES is
located in Digital Center Building and Unnes Archives Building, as explained by the Chancellor of
UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono MSi.
