Living in a foreign country has been increasing dramatically and becoming popular in our

society. While many people say that migration can bring great opportunities to develop
personally better, some others assume that this is not so good as living in their homeland.
This essay will specifically discuss both pros and cons of the issue before drawing a
conclusion.

To begin with, there are some apparent positive impacts of living abroad. Some countries
nowadays are considered as a promised land attracting a huge number of people to come
and work or study. That is because most of these destinations provide them easier money-
earning chances in comparison with their homeland. In addition, they enhance the level of
skills of foreign languages and have more chances to approach advanced technologies
which help them be more innovative and be easy to gain their success and be promoted. In
brief, the great benefits of living abroad are undeniable.

However, living in other countries are still the disadvantages. When changing living and
working environments, newcomers live far from relatives, friends which make people feel
frequently alone and be easy to dishearten because no closed people beside them when
they need to encourage. one person must take a long time not only to master the language
of new communities but also to adapt to the spoken style of the locals, and it will be hard to
socialize with surrounding communities in the long run. It is generally acknowledged that
living abroad cannot be more advantageous than living in one's own country.

In conclusion, the existing data already provide a concrete foundation to conclude that living
abroad has both negative and positive impacts. However, I am still concerned that the
advantages of this issue really dominate its disadvantage
