Activity I. Exploring the School Campus
A. Write a brief description of different facilities indicated in the table
below and tell how each contributed to students learning and development.
Facilities Description
Office of the Principal The Office of the Principal
has a good ambience and
the staff and students can
visit there easily because
it is located beside the
hallway. In the office, the
school principal do her
paperwork and make plan
about enhancing the
school.
Library The school library is
located beside the
hallway of the school. The
books are well arranged
where the students can
easily find information or
do their assignments and
projects.
Canteen The school canteen is

It could not directly
contribute to the
students learning
development because the
office of the principal
considered as a room for
her work on how to
eleviate the challenges in
the school in order to
make progress when it
comes to students
learning development.
The library plays an
important role for each
learner. It provides
credible resources and
informations to enhance
the knowledge of each
learner.
School canteen help the
 located in fron of the
grade 4 rooms. This place
serves healthy foods for
the students. There are
vendors who assessed
the students when they
buy some foods or their
snacks.
Medical Clinic Medical Clinic has first aid
kit which is very common
in every clinic facility. The
clinic has different kinds
of medicine which is safe
for the students.
Home Economic The home economic of
the school has different
kinds of kitchen utensils.
This place considered as
main kitchen of the
school and learning area
for the cookery or
cooking subject.
Comfort room (boys, The school has comfort
girls) room for boys and girls
with handwashing area.
In fact, some of the
classroom has its own
student on how to
socialize other students
as well as the vendor.This
could be considerd as
part or their learning and
development process
because there's a social
coonection.
The school clinic is very
important to all students
because it provides
health care services. The
clinic provides first aid for
illness and injuries that
each student can get
some lessons or
important advice on how
to take care themselves.
Yes, home economics
help students learning
development when it
comes to their cooking
skills. It also hepl students
familiarize those cooking
tools and learn on how to
cook even a simple foods.

contribute to the
students learning and
development as they
learn on how to maintain
 comfort room but not
separated with the boys
and girls, maybe because
of the space or for the
emegencies where the
students can easily use it.

the learning development
of the students because
this concept is not only
focusing on the progress
of the students.

B. Analyze:

1. How do the school campus and the school classroom impact the learning of
the students going to school? What is your conclusion.

Answer: The school campus and the school classroom considered as the second
home of the students where they can learn and discover a lot of things. School
campus and classroom should always be a safe place for the students to develop
their potentials and learn on how to socialize.In fact, the school campus and the
school classroom provides students needs either related to academic or not but
we must also understand as educator that each of our learner always need our
guidance for them to know better about things around them. Though, there are
fast learner students and some are not. So, the school campus and classroom
should be monitored by the teachers as well in order to help students unlocked
their fears and enhance their knowledge and capabilities to become the best
version of themselves.

C. Reflect: (Discuss/Explain)

1. Would you like to teach in the school you observed? Why? Why not?

Answer: Yes, because the students are respectful and active during the classroom
activities which motivate and inspired me to become an educator. In fact, during
first day of my observation the students are very energetic willing to learn in
every topic of the books. They are active and confident in answering questions
wether their answer is wrong or right.

2. In the future how can you make your classroom with a conducive environment
and to your teaching and learning of the learners?

Answer: As future educator I would always be optimistic with my students

because I believe this could be a great way to have conducive environment. Being
optimistic you can make your lesson more engaging and interesting because each
learner needs a teacher who always positive in every single day of their learning
process. On the other hand, I would establish strong relationship with my
students and assessed them to overcome their difficulties in understanding the
lessons. Also appreciate their hardworks so that they will become more
motivated to learn and to develop their skills especially in achieving their goals.

3. Write additional learning and insights in not less than 100 words.
Answer: Exploring the school campus is a process of knowing the vision of the
school as well as yourself as an obsrver. During my observation I learn someting
new yet useful things in preparing myself for the next challenges that I can
encounter. Actually, because of field study subject I realize that as educator we
must responsible enough as we are the role model and a source of knowledge to
our young learners. Educator should have the passion and patience to assessed
each student when it comes to learning development. Honestly, field study taught
me to learn the importance of teaching and gave me an idea in handling
challenges on how to overcome it. Teaching is not only a profession but it is a
mission to touch the minds of young learners in order to develop theirselves and
prepare them for a better individual that can actually make a difference not only
inside the school but also in the society.
