In Class Task 1

Name: Gov. Francis Burton Harrison

Location:Caraga State University – Main Campus, Ampayon, Butuan City
Form: Sculpture
Color: The sculpture is made with bronze, so its color is a shiny metallic bronze as well.
 This art form is an Indirectly Functional Art since it is perceived through our senses
which “to see”. It is also a Social Function. The sculpture itself functions in a social manner
such to influence the collective behavior of those that see the art. This is true since Gov.
Francis Burton Harrison’s sculpture gives out insights and historical significance to the
community such as the Caraga State University.

In Class Task 1

We all have stockpile of containers we don’t know what to use or how to use anymore.
So, I pondered what would be best use of changing that can prove useful to us. After that
I realized that majority of us are pet lovers and keepers. Most pets they keep are either
dog or cats. So that is when I thought to make a dog feeder. It can be applied to cats as
well.

The form is very simple as well as easy to make. The picture above shows how it looks
and simple ways to build it. You just cut the bottom part to build a bowl for the container
and glue it in half with the incision of side shown in the initial form. It can be modified as
well to be more creative and upgrades.
