Due to technological advances, we have everything in electronic format, including games, newspapers,

novels, and more. Others would instead continue reading classic paper books, while others read books
on smartphones or tablets. I like reading printed books, and I would like to introduce my point of view
in the following paragraphs.

Firstly, reading on a tablet or phone would provide a lot of distractions, such as notifications from
various applications like social media or ringing phones, making it difficult for the reader to
concentrate. Paper books are also more widely available because anyone can carry them without issues.
For instance, technological devices require charging or internet connectivity, which are not always
available.

Secondly, extended eye contact with electronic devices is harmful to your well-being. Recent research
shows that excessive use of tablets and computers over the past few decades has worsened eye
disorders and impaired vision. My example is an excellent illustration of this. I read a lot with modern
devices, so I worsen my vision. As a result, I had to take several medicines to improve my health. After
that, I switched to printed books.

In conclusion, reading classical books is better than using modern devices due to the abovementioned
facts.
