What does religion have to do with culture?

Culture is the beliefs, values, system of language, communication, and common

practices of every person who is included in a community or country. There are many things
that affect the culture of a country so it changes, and one of them is our own religion because
of having different religions, which can also change our beliefs, especially regarding God. There
are religions that prohibit doing what others are used to doing, for example, in Muslim
marriage, which is very strict for them; by this, I mean until they are married, so they are not
allowed to hug or hold because of what they have seen. Religion also changes people's beliefs
about superstitions, so that with the rise of new religions, this also gradually changes.
When a country or community embraces a religion, they will follow the standards of
that religion in everything from beliefs to behavior to daily practice and so on. What they will
do is leave what they are used to and believe in.
Do you think culture continues to evolve? Why or why not?
Yes, since a variety of factors influence it and cause constant change. Like how quickly
technology is evolving, so is a nation's culture, and as a result, it affects what people used to do.
For instance, traditional games are being replaced by mobile and gadget games by the new
generation. The other factor that makes the culture to evolves is by adopting the culture of
other countries. Most of the today's youth are more interested in learning about and imitating
the cultures of other nations than they are in their own. This is also true of their clothing
choices. Even in the behaviors we have adopted, usually now we can no longer use respectful
words such as "Po" and "Opo". Therefore, it is clear that a culture will continue to develop
because it is natural for humans to try out new things, and as a result, there is a chance that we
may lose sight of own culture.
How do we promote and preserve our cultural heritage?
By becoming a part of organizations or taking part in international competitions or
events like Miss Universe, we can promote and preserve our own culture. Along with
showcasing her beauty and the talent and skill of Filipino designers, the contestant will also be
able to highlight the distinctive cultures of the Philippines through this. We can also preserve
our culture by remembering it when we move to a new country or location. We always
remember that just because we move does not require us to change our culture; we can simply
adapt to the culture of our new location.  When we moved to other place or country, we can
also share our culture with our new neighbors.
