Explanation: Giving specific school level to teach could help them and this could work easily
because most of the students from secondary and tertiary could learn and have their basic
knowledge. In addition of teaching about the development of moral character and etc for the
duties of a citizenship. It is more fun and exciting if we will add and teach some of rizal’s
nostalgic story because our hero Dr. Jose Rizal has it’s extraordinary story about his life and it
can be our inspiration and motivation to be a good citizen in our own motherland.

 Similarities between a leader and a hero (10 points)


Most of us says that a leader and a hero is different to each other but if we think deeper
a leader and a hero has it similarities. They are the one who lifts the group. Both of them
gives and show courage to the group. Even in the difficult and dangerous time they
shows bravery and strength to do something. Another similarities of a hero and a leader
is that they are selflessness. They will do anything for others first. And also they have
patience. A leader and a hero gives an impressive amount of patience in any situation.
 Differences between a patriot and a nationalist (10 points)
In Patriot, the sentiments are more inclined towards the idea of peaceful coexistence
between nations. While Nationalist, the sentiments are more inclined towards
sentiments and aggression towards other nations. Simply, patriot refers to devotion to a
particular place and involves social conditioning and personal opinions. Nationalist
involves national identity and a superior feeling towards one’s own nation. Another
thing, a patriot is little passive by nature. People unites for the overall well-being and
prosperity of the nation. Nationalist is little aggressive by nature. And also Nationalist
unites people against a foreign hostile nation, it unites people against a common
enemy.
 Differences between hero and martyr (10 points)
Hero is a real or mythical person of great bravery who carries out extraordinary deeds
while martyr is the one who willingly accepts being put in to death for adhering openly
to one’s religious beliefs. In addition, a hero is a man who admired for deeds and
qualities. Martyr is a man who is remembered and admired for suffering for his faith.
Remember, a martyr could be a hero but a hero couldn’t be a martyr. You can be a hero
in anyways, but then you cannot be a martyr unless you sacrifice your own life for the
common good.

3. How can modern heroes be useful in influencing our current political, social, spiritual, and
personal situations? (20 points)

Heroes exemplify cherished values, display qualities we admire, show us how to overcome
challenges and call us to stand up for others. They help build a better world for us all. As Dr. Jose
Rizal’s values and influenced to the youth wherein He wanted the Filipino youth to use their
capabilities, talents and skills to stand out not only for their own praise and success but also for
the praise and success of their own motherland, the Philippines. Dr. Jose Rizal wanted the
Filipino youth to build up their abilities and use them to help those who are in need. This is
helpful in our situation as we also studying his life and works.
