delivering a brief and creative entertainment speech featuring a variety of effective
paragraphs, appropriate grammatical signals or expressions in topic development, and
appropriate prosodic features, stance, and behavior.

Propaganda is the use of a variety of communication


techniques to create an emotional appeal to accept a particular
belief or opinion, to adopt a certain behavior, or to perform a
particular action. It differs from a debate because it presents only
one side of the story. The information reflects the point-of-view,
beliefs, and biases of the author without looking at the interest of
the audience.

Propaganda is intended to make us accept or approve something


without looking closely at the evidence. Most of the propaganda
devices utilize emotion and avoid critical thinking.
