In celebration of the Holy week, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Sto. Tomas
National High School (STNHS) conducted the “Scrapbooking My Relationship with God” activity
under Project PAMMATI. Project PAMMATI is a project consisting of various activities that objects
to promote and improve one’s relationship and faith in God. The scrapbooking activity officially
started when the opening was announced on March 16, 2022 in the SSG AND CLUB PRESIDENTS &
ADVISERS group chat as the activity chose the school clubs as participants together with the
students of STNHS. The deadline of the scrapbooking was announced to be on April 8, 2022.
During the month-long scrapbook making, the Presidents of every club encouraged their
members and co-students to share their favorite verses and testimonies for the scrapbooks
content. The student leaders had their own strategy in gathering their scrapbooks’ content
including research. For the scrapbooks design, some of the clubs did recycling which can be seen
in their outputs. The student leaders also asked for their teacher-advisers’ assistance which the
advisers actively attended to.
The culmination of the scrapbooking activity took place on April 13 at the Technical
Vocational Building of Sto. Tomas National High School (STNHS) with the participation of the
Grade 11 HUMSS and STEM students attending face-to-face classes. There were 12 total
scrapbooks submitted which the club presidents presented and discussed during the culminating
program. The clubs who participated were the IPED, Technolympics, KPSEP, Link, BKD, Math, SSG,
Science, Yes-O, and English respectively.
The program started with the lively opening by the master of ceremony SSG Treasurer
Gideon Lingbanan which was followed by the SSG Adviser Josephine Danis' welcome remarks. The
School Head Sir Danilo Gayao also expressed a meaningful message before the presentations. The
principal highlighted the idea that no matter what religion we are in, "what matters most is that
you will be committing yourself to God" as he gave his message about the appreciation of our
relationship with God and insights within the Biblical history.
The scrapbooks were presented and discussed individually by the different school clubs
where they tackled what their contents are and why they chose to include these. These
scrapbooks were carefully evaluated and judged by the honorable judges following a given
criteria. The judges include the STNHS’ Principal Sir Danilo Gayao, Head Teacher Sir Edgar Soriano,
Master Teacher Ma’am Marjorie Saingan from the English Department and Master Teacher
Ma’am Marissa Dacpano from the Araling Panlipunan Department.
The criteria of the judging are as follows: Content-40%, Creativity-35%, Neatness-15%, and
