I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and principles in installing

D. Learning In a span of one (1) hour, the students are expected to:
Objectives • By the end of the lesson, students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in using
the basic features of Microsoft Word 2016.
• By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use Microsoft Word to create a
document that includes at least three different types of formatting.
• Appreciate the significance of using proper formatting and design principles in
creating documents.

Let’s us recapitulate the essential points of today topic. The Home tab in Word Document
is one of the main tabs on the program's ribbon interface. It contains a set of commands
and tools that are commonly used for formatting text, such as changing the font and font
size, applying bold, italic or underline styles, aligning text, creating bulleted or numbered
lists, and adjusting line spacing. Additionally, the Home tab provides tools for working
with styles, which can help to maintain consistency and improve the visual appeal of
documents. Other groups on the Home tab include the Clipboard group, which provides
options for cutting, copying, and pasting text, and the Editing group, which includes
features such as find and replace, spelling and grammar check, and thesaurus. In
essence, the Home tab is a central location for accessing some of the most commonly
used tools for creating and formatting text in Word Document.
