Peace in Christ!
After our Consultation Meeting with you last December 4, 2021, we would like to inform you of the details
of your child’s forthcoming First Holy Communion at Saint Joseph School Chapel. This is your
child’s one special day for he/she shall be receiving Jesus Christ in the Eucharist for the first time.
1. Attire: See the attachments for the sample attire. Based on the survey, the 2019 design shall still
be used by both levels.

by a supplier (Php950.00) shaped tie – provided by a supplier
❖ White shoes & plain white knee socks (Php1,000.00)
❖ Plain white face mask ❖ Black shoes and white socks
❖ Light makeup ❖ Black belt
❖ Plain white face mask
2. Each grade level shall be divided alphabetically into two groups to distribute the
participants and comply with safety protocols.
3. Each participant must confirm his/her participation together with the name of his/her
accompanying parent or guardian.
Each pupil is allowed to be accompanied by only 1 parent or guardian. This is to limit the number of
attendees inside the Chapel.
In the confirmation reply, a photo of the vaccination card of the accompanying parent or guardian must be
attached.
To confirm, a Google Form shall be released by the School and posted on Schoology and group chats.
4. The School will hire official photographers (vaccinated individuals) to limit the disturbance and to
maintain the solemnity of the occasion.
5. Parents who would like to offer during the Offertory are also welcome. Kindly inform the class adviser
of your child if you are interested.
6. The following amounts shall be collected by the SJS Finance Team (onsite or online payment) on or
before January 12, 2022 (for Grade 5) and January 18, 2022 (for Grade 4).
Any expected participant (pupil, parent, guardian, teacher) who experiences Covid-related symptoms or
had possible contact to a suspected Covid-19 shall be required to forego attending the ceremony.
8. Our pupils will come to the SJS Chapel three times – Confession, Final Practice, and the Rites of the
First Holy Communion. Scheduled dates and instructions shall be posted later.
9. It is to be noted that the School shall suspend and reschedule the ceremony should there be a threat on
the safety of every expected participant due to Covid-19 cases.
We are hoping for your usual cooperation and support. It is our hope and prayer that the targeted dates
will be favored.
In Christ,
Jerome R. Berja
