FULL INTRODUCTION
I am Salman Kholiqil Rizki, Corporal Cadet, Academic Number 2021.007. I am
19 years old, I was born in Prabumulih on 23 January 2003, I am a Melayu Tribe,
and both of my parents are the same. My Father is an entrepreneur, my Mother
is a housewife, and I have two brothers and no sisters. I like to cycle, play guitar,
and learn a language. I am on going learning Spanish and Russian.
I graduated from state senior high school 1st Prabumulih in 2020. I was
accepted into the military academy in 2021 on my first attempt after a long
time of admission tests. I have wanted to join the military since I was in
elementary school. When I was a child, my dream was to become a pilot. And it
faded, and my ambition changed to being in the Army.
Being a cadet who can study at Indonesia Military Academy is an extraordinary
pride. I want to earn an undergraduate degree at Military Academy to pursue
my passion for military service to my beloved Nation. I want to contribute more
to my country in the future. I am diligently in high school, taking advanced
academics, keeping in top physical condition, holding school leadership
positions, and volunteering in the community. Along with all those things, it has
given me confidence in pursuing Military Academy as the next step toward
becoming an officer in the Army.
I have been fortunate to have the full support of my family and mentors in my
pursuit of becoming a Military Academy cadet and future military leader; they
reminded me of the importance of selfless service. My uncle, Puji Wahdini, a
marines officer, told us about the incredible story. He made to make himself
tried three times before he got accepted to Indonesia naval academy. And

represent Indonesia in various overseas events. Through his stories, the

purpose of my hard work in preparing for a military career crystalized- be better
for others so they can be better at serving the country. To honor him, I swear to
myself to be his successor.
To gain additional insight into being an Army officer, I talked with Graduates
from The Military Academy who told me about their life when they were a cadet
and the challenges I would face. I also wanted to see an active military unit, so I
visited the Special Forces Command headquarters. There, I saw how Army
officers lead by example; they expect to get dirty on the field and to support
other soldiers in all their goals. For the privilege of serving the Nation, I have
prepared for the challenge and honor of being a Military Academy cadet
representing my country after graduation, to commission as a proud officer in
the Indonesian Army.
Currently, in the military academy, I am trying to improve my skills and ability,
such as Academic, Physical, and other soft skills like language ability .due to
the challenges and threats that we will face as a future military leader,
language skill is crucial. Many things like Global conditions, politics, and
technology development are available in English as an international language,
which supports our duty as an army. Hence that's our responsibility to prepare
for it. I am grateful to Allah for giving me this opportunity to be a cadet in this
Great institution because many people want to get into the Military Academy. I
believe this is the place that will make me and all of us get prepared for the
future. I hope Military Academy will be better going forward And always be the
best as The center of excellence.
