ORDER

As per the Government Order read as first paper above, Government have revised
the AICTE pay scales of Engineering College faculties with effect from 01.01.2006. The
Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) for teachers and equivalent positions were also
revised as per the order. As per the Order read 2 nd above, Government have issued
clarification on implementation of Career Advancement Scheme among the Engineering
College faculties. Later the revised guidelines for placement of Engineering College
faculty was issued by Government as per order referred to third above.

Assistant Professors / Associate Professors (NC) / Professors(NC) of various

Government Engineering Colleges have applied for placement under the Career
Advancement Scheme (CAS). The Screening and Selection Committee constituted as
per Government Order read as 2nd above, met on 22/07/2022 to verify the admissibility of
the applications submitted. Based on the decisions of the Committee, the following
faculties have been placed as Assistant Professors in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100
with AGP 7000 (Annexure I) and AGP 8000 (Annexure II), as Associate Professors (NC)
in the Pay Band of Rs.37400 - 67000 with AGP 9000 (Annexure III) and as Professors
(NC) in the Pay Band of Rs.37400 - 67000 with AGP 10000 (Annexure VI) as per the list
appended, as on the dates noted against their names.

The placement sanctioned in this order is for Career Advancement only and will
not affect the seniority of the concerned in the respective cadres of Assistant/Associate
Professors.
 The faculty should undertake that any excess payment is found to have been made
as a result of incorrect placement into the AGPs concerned or any discrepancies noticed
subsequently would be refunded by them to the Government without raising any objection
to it.

The Pay of the incumbents on grant of placement in higher AGP will be fixed by the
Accountant General (A&E)
