This pertains to your eFOI Request submitted to us on April 7, 2022 with a Tracking no.: #MGB-141693255300 requesting this Office for a copy of
the Geologic Map
of Manila and Quezon City (Sheet No. 3263-IV), Geological Map of Region IV-A ,
and Geotechnical information of the vicinity of
Ortigas Avenue and the
Circumferential Road R-5 including Soil Studies Reports.
 
We would like to inform you that the 1:50,000-scale geologic map of Manila and
Quezon City (Sheet No. 3263-IV) is available in jpeg format
only. Unfortunately, some of the 1:50,000-scale geological maps for Region IV-A are unavailable as they are yet to be covered by the on-going
fieldwork activities of the National Geological Quadrangle Mapping Program (NGQMP) of the Lands Geological Survey Division (LGSD).
The shape files for all geologic maps of MGB are still in the lengthy and rigorous process of checking, correction, validation, and approval of the
Technical Working Group (TWG) in connection to the on-going NGQMP. Please refer to the attached Index of 1:50,000-scale Geologic Maps of the
Philippines below for your reference.

On the other hand, kindly take note that this Office does not have geotechnical information of Ortigas Avenue and vicinity including soil study reports.
You may contact the Bureau of Soil and Water Management for this information. 

Relative to this, please

note that the acquisition of geologic maps entails payment of the prescribed
fees pursuant to the pertinent provisions of
Section 8.7 of DENR Administrative
Order No. 2005-08 in re: "Provisions for New Fees and Charges for
Various Services of the Mines and
Geosciences Bureau", as follows:

 
     
      Geological Quadrangle Maps 1:50,000 scale
(JPEG) - PhP 500.00/Map
     
      Geological Map of the Philippines (JPEG) - Php 500.00/Map
 
Please make the
payment of the said fees through online payment using the following
