The Barkada Online Caroling, held from December 16 to 20, 2022, was a highly
successful and impactful event organized by the Barkada Kontra Droga organization.
Throughout the five days of the activity, participants showcased their talents and
entertained both a local and virtual audience with their lively performances of
Christmas carols. The event not only spread joy and festive spirit but also served as a
platform to raise funds for the organization's drug prevention programs.
The opening ceremony on December 16 set the tone for the event, emphasizing
the significance of the Barkada Online Caroling in supporting the programs of Barkada
Kontra Droga. The organizers worked diligently to ensure a diverse repertoire of carols
and engaging performances to captivate the audience and attract generous donations
from individuals and local businesses.
Over the course of the next three days, the momentum of the Barkada Online
Caroling continued to grow. Through the effective use of social media and online
streaming platforms, the performances were broadcasted to a wider audience,
extending the reach and impact of the event beyond the local community. The

participants showcased their exceptional talent and dedication, drawing praise and
admiration from viewers who were touched by their performances.
As the event came to a close on December 20, a closing ceremony was held to
express gratitude and appreciation to all those involved. The organizers expressed their
heartfelt thanks to the participants, sponsors, and supporters who made the Barkada
Online Caroling a success. The total amount raised through the event was announced,
reflecting the generosity and commitment of the community towards the cause of drug
prevention.
The funds collected from the Barkada Online Caroling will be instrumental in
supporting Barkada Kontra Droga's ongoing programs throughout the year. These
resources will be utilized to organize educational campaigns, awareness programs, and
rehabilitation services, contributing to the organization's mission of creating a drug-free
community.
