Analysis SWOT (1)
Strength

Have better service.

Ready to make delivery.
Not setting a profit.
Has a good quality product (catfish)
because it is given quality feed.
Have direct cooperation with the catfish
feed factory.
Have cooperation with middlemen and
sales.

Opportunity

In the world of fishery and catfish

farming it is quite easy and promises
sizable profits, from maintenance to the
irrigation system is not too much of a
hassle. And in terms of seed
enlargement to harvest, fish cultivation
only takes 3 months.
Analysis SWOT (2)
Weakness

Difficult road access to the place of

business => there is no location update
on GMaps and the way.
Road access is difficult for four-
wheeled vehicles, only motorbikes.
Initially, there was no business license
from the Office of Cooperatives, SMEs
and Industry.
This effort is not supported by the
surrounding community, because it is
considered to cause environmental
pollution, especially water pollution.

Threat

The threat experienced by this business

is that there are people who disgrace
this business.
Accounting and Reporting
In running this business, does the business produce
financial reports?
Based on the results of the interviews, this
catfish business makes financial reports.
What financial reports have been implemented by
MSMEs?
Based on the results of the interview, the
financial reports used by the owner are still
reports in a simple form. The owner makes
financial reports in a notebook, and from
what we have noticed that his records are
only core expenses such as expenses for
salaries, buying fish seeds, and so on.

Regarding the business that you run, according to

him, is it important to prepare financial reports?
Based on the results of the interview,
according to his father, it is important to
record the income and expenses of a
business. But since his father, who is in charge
of finance, is no longer his wife, his father
often forgets to keep records and keeps
records only soberly.
Accounting and Reporting

Did you encounter any problems in preparing your

financial reports?
Based on the interview results, his father
experienced problems, namely not being
careful in calculating and not doing it on an
ongoing basis.

Do HR employees at MSMEs understand financial

records?
Based on the interview results, only the
owner knows the recording of his financial
statements, because there are only 4 workers
in the business and they already have their
respective duties.
Bellow we attach
several financial
reports from
December 2022 to
April 2023:

Suggestion

Our advice for catfish SMEs is to increase the

promotion section and make more detailed
financial reports. Because previously the
promotion was done only by word of mouth. In
the future, you can promote via WhatsApp, such
as making a status on WhatsApp, sharing it
with groups owned by the owner, and
increasing branding which is already good by
word of mouth. And for business continuity, our
advice is to register the business with the
Banyumas area, because it has not been
registered

To improve the financial statements that are

owned by means
1. Made in a better book
2. Separation between income and expenses
clearly and neatly
3. Made with a simple table to make it easier
when recording.
