Counter Narrative Assignment

In this assignment you will work in a team to create a counter narrative e-poster. A counter-narrative is a message that offers a positive
alternative to extremist propaganda, or alternatively aims to deconstruct or delegitimize extremist.

Step by step:
1. Identify the issue (what is current situation)
2. What worries you most?
3. Find a case of hate-speech in Indonesia [article, blogs, tweets, IG posts, etc.]
4. Review the content and why it constitutes hate and what is the highlighted issue? [LGBT, politics, ethnicity, religion]
5. Design a counter-narrative e-poster → message needs to be positive ensure it promotes pluralism/tolerance/inclusivity

The team will do a presentation in week 5, just by presenting the e-poster (no need to prepare a written report/PPT), but your team must
be able to describe the reasons behind creating that e-poster. Students may refer to the 5 steps in creating the counter narrative e-poster
while doing the presentation. The presentation max 10 minutes per team.

Remember, that you cannot fight hate speech with creating another hate speech. Choose your words and e-poster visual design carefully!
