How your strengths and opportunities from your SWOT analysis could

help you gain the qualifications needed for an entry level job.
My strengths and opportunities
from my SWOT analysis can
help me gain the qualification
needed for an entry level job as
it shows that I have experience
with using film equipment such
as cameras and tripods as well
as editing software which is
used everyday in the film
industry. As I have edited a
short film and filmed it first
hand it has given me the skills
needed for an entry level job
even for things such as floor runners and editing assistants. I have also gained
knowledge on the process of the production which gives me the intelligence needed
for the film industry. And what processes happen before the filming begins such as
the ideas and classification of the film.

What type of entry level job you would aim for and how you could fulfil
the requirements.

The type of entry level job I would go for is a production finance assistant which has
sparked interest in me as I am good with money and is a great entry level job as
you're there to
make sure all
spending is
done within
the budget
and does not
go over it .The
skills required
for this entry
level job are
the following.
Demonstrable
financial
aptitude gained
via an academic
qualification or
relevant finance
based work experience.
● Good mathematical skills. A pass GCSE grade 6 or above or equivalent experience.
● Evidence of the ability to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment. Reacting
appropriately to ever changing circumstances.
● Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records at all times.
● Evidence managing high volume workload efficiently and effectively maintaining high
standards at all times.
● Excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to work effectively with a range
of stakeholders at all levels.
● Demonstrable passion for working in production finance, adapting to a range of systems,
policies and processes and pursuing a financial career in television and for working at
ITV.

As I have good mathematical skills it is a good job to go for and to make sure I meet
the requirements. I can show that I have had a high volume workload by creating a
short-film in a short amount of time which shows I can work at a high capacity.

job.Present your plan in a Word document.
An entry level job is great at gaining an insight in to the film industry and is a great
way to work your way up the ladder, I would start at production finance assistant
which then can help me become a finance manager which is a great paying job and
fun as it is a very time consuming job and deals with budgeting. Through this I would
then like to work my way to becoming a video editor which would be my ultimate film
job as it is a very fun, entertaining and important job.
