Rasa-Basa read the statement and unscrambled the letters to answer the questions.

Let the class guess the letter by finding the letters in all direction using a compass. Unlock
the secret word.

2. Discussion
 Our lesson for today is all about the different characteristics of Planets in our Solar System.
 8 planets in the solar system.
 Terrestrial and Jovian Planets.

Remember:

 The inner planets are also known as terrestrial planets because they are the closest to the sun among the
planets. The planet closest to the sun is Mercury but the hottest planet is Venus. The only planet that can
support life is Earth while Mars is also known as the red planet.
 The Jovian planets are: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune

3. Performing the Activity


 Group the class into 5 groups. Each teams will select their team leader, assistant and members. Place
the different planets in the solar system in their correct order.
 Answer another activity.
Answer the Planet Crossword Puzzle.

4. Processing the Activity and Summarizing the Lesson

 Ask volunteers to share with the class their answer on the activity.
 After the sharing of outputs, summarize the lesson. (Generalization)
