First, the Dole officer discussed why Ms. Macabata filed a case mentioning that; a.
EBSI, Ms. Nikka forced her to resign. b. deductions of her loan to SSS was 570php
but supposed to be less than.
Second, Ms. Macabata mentioned that on 04 April 2022, she reported to EBSI office
and requested to talk to Ms. Nikka Yabut with the present of Mr. Marvin Sotelo to
apologize, rendered her resignation letter, and asked for help for financial aid by
releasing her the cash bond, 13th-month pay, and other mandated benefits she must
receive.
Third, I explained to the DOLE officer Mr. Castro that there was no illegal dismissal
done by EBSI mentioning that if an employee violated our company rule, there must
be a certain punishment that must be imposed.
Finally, the amicable settlement has come to a decision where Ms. Macabata agreed
to accept and receive the cheque prepared for her amounting Php 36,260.41 and she
signed the DOLE SENA QuitClaim and Release Form. Case Closed / Dismissed and
ended the SENA.
