How to Teach Family and Friends
Abstract

It is important to understand that

reading is a process. Strong readers
don't just sit down with a text, read it
once, and completely understand it.

In this webinar, we will focus on

different variations of teaching reading
skills and how alternative practices can
improve a student’s reading skill and
experience.

Shared discussion

Please take a few moments to share:

1. What skills are associated with reading?

2. Should reading be done alone or in a
group?
3. How is reading challenging for your
students?
