Summary of the Results of the Project’s Effectiveness
I. Project Title:
PROJECT BLYTH - Bringing Learning through YouTube to Homes
(A Teaching Strategy Using Math Tutorial Videos)
II. Introduction:
Project BLYTH - Bringing Learning through YouTube to Homes is composed of self-
made tutorial videos focused on Math 6 weekly competencies per quarter which are aligned to the
competencies in their Self-Learning Modules. These can be viewed online through YouTube or
can be viewed after downloaded at the learners’ own preferred time at the convenience of their
homes.
III. Accomplishment:
This project accomplished the following:
1. Assisted learners in learning their weekly lessons at the convenience of their homes.
2. Guided learners in performing their weekly learning tasks even without the presence of the
teacher.
3. Learners mastered the competencies through recorded guided activities.
The following graphs show the result of the survey conducted among 137 Grade 6 students
with regards to the effectiveness of the tutorial videos:

answered NO to the question.

IV. Conclusion/Recommendation:
Based on the results of the survey conducted among Grade 6 students, it is evident that the
tutorial videos used under Project BLYTH are helpful in helping and guiding the students in
learning the weekly competencies in Math 6. It is recommended that the use of tutorial videos
during the modular distance learning should be continued.
