2.7 Areas of Concern and Associated Mitigation Action

1. Delay in placing the PO for vertical post and Tracker – Group 1, Block 3

Mitigation Action:

EPC will place the PO for Block-3 on NEXTracker by 08th Feb 22. The delivery lot size has been discussed & agreed with
vendor as 40 Mw/week.
The execution strategy has been changed to include additional resources to make up for the loss of time.

The Tracker installation works will be completed by 29th Sept’22 and ensured that all other works other the activities
dependent on Modules will be completed as end of Oct’22.

2. Delay in Placing the PO for Modules:

The PO for modules in considered to be placed on 20th Feb’22 in the schedule. The Deliveries are considered with a lot
size of 35MW/week . The Delay in PO Modules deliveries has cascading effect on installation and commissioning
activities which has led to the negative float of 97 days. With this the ICOD1 will be on 06th Feb 2023.

Mitigation Action:

EPC will put their efforts for expediting the deliveries and execution after the placement of PO.

3. Manufacturing clearance for tracker of Group 1 Block 4 (PV hardware):

Delay in providing manufacturing clearance for tracker due to SBP report submission and approval. The
report has been submitted and in discussion with PC for approval. Once the same is approved, then the
MFC will be issued.

Mitigation Action:

EPC will release the MFC on first week of Feb’22, However PVH is going ahead in procurement of raw materials so that
they will take up the manufacturing as soon as MFC is issued. The complete tracker delivery is expected to be
completed by end of April and EPC will deploy the resources accordingly to expedite the works and revised forecast
histogram attached .

2.8 Schedule Overview (G-1)

The Critical Path:

1. PO for Modules - Manufacturing & Delivery – Installation of PV Modules – Commissioning.

The PO for modules in considered to be placed on 20th Feb’22 in the schedule. The Deliveries are
considered with a lot size of 35MW/week . The Delay in PO Modules deliveries has cascading effect on

2. ARCS Manufacturing -Delivery -Installation –Commissioning.

The PO for ARCS is planned to be placed on 16 th Feb’22 and Compatibility Test shall be done after PO of PV
Module. The delay in ARCS is due to cascading effect of delay in PO of PV Module
The installation and commissioning activities will be fast tracked to meet the commissioning dates.

3. MMS Tracker Manufacturing & Delivery(B4) – Installation - Commissioning.

EPC will release the MFC on first week of Feb’22, However PVH is going ahead in procurement of raw
materials so that they will take up the manufacturing as soon as MFC is issued. The complete tracker
delivery is expected to be completed by end of April and EPC will deploy the resources accordingly to
expedite the works and revised forecast histogram attached.

4. Vertical Post(B4) Manufacturing & Delivery – Installation - Commissioning.

PVH started Vertical post manufacturing & deliveries and EPC increased the resources by adding addititonal
sub contarctor for doing the ramming works inorder to recover the progress and to meet the installation
completion dates.
