3:1 ‫ַוּנֵפֶ ן‬ ‫ַוּנַעַ ל‬

‫ֶּד ֶר‬ ‫ַה ָּבׁשָ ן‬ ‫ַוּיֵצֵ א‬ ‫עג‬

. Then we turned, and

came out against us, he and

ֵ ‫ִל ְק ָר‬ ‫ְוכָ ל הּוא‬ ‫עַ ּמ ־‬ ‫לַ ִּמ ְל ָח ָמה‬ ‫ אֶ ְד ֶר ִעי‬: all his people, to battle at
Edrei.

3:2 ‫ֹאמר‬
ֶ ‫וַּי‬ ‫יְ הוָה‬ ‫אֵ לַ י‬ ‫אַ ל‬ ‫ירא ־‬
ָ ‫ִּת‬ ‫אֹת‬ ‫ִּכי‬ '‫ְבי ְָד‬ ‫נ ַָת ִּתי‬

And the LORD said unto

and·he-is-saying Yahweh to·me must-not-be you-are-fearing »·him that in·hand-of·you I-gave deliver him, and all his
people, and his land, into

ָ ‫ְועָ ִׂש‬ ‫ּל‬ ‫ּכַ אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫ית‬
ָ ‫עָ ִׂש‬ thy hand; and thou shalt do
unto him as thou didst unto

Sihon king of the Amorites,

So the LORD our God

‫ְואֶ ת‬ ‫ּכָ ל ־‬ ‫עַ ּמ ־‬ ‫ַוּנַּכֵ הּו‬ ‫עַ ד‬ ‫ִּב ְל ִּתי ־‬ ‫ִה ְׁש ִאיר‬ ‫ל ־‬ smote him until none was
left to him remaining.

And we took all his cities

kingdom of Og in Bashan.

All these cities [were]

3:6 ‫ַו ַּנח ֲֵרם‬ ‫אתם‬

ָ ‫ּכַ אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫עָ ִׂשינּו‬ ‫חן‬
ֹ ‫ְל ִסי‬
ֶ‫ֶמל‬ ‫ֶח ְׁשּבן‬ ‫ַהח ֲֵרם‬ ‫ּכָ ל‬ ‫ִעיר ־‬
6
And we utterly destroyed

and·we-are-cdooming »·them as·which we-did to·Sihon king-of Heshbon to-cdoom every-of city king of Heshbon, utterly
destroying the men, women,

But all the cattle, and the

3:8 ‫וַּנִ ַּקח‬ ‫ָּבעֵ ת‬ ‫ַה ִהוא‬ ‫ָהאָ ֶרץ ־ אֶ ת‬ ‫ִמּיַד‬ ‫ְׁשנֵי‬ ‫ַמ ְלכֵ י‬ ‫אמ ִֹרי‬
ֱ ‫ָה‬

And we took at that time

ַ ‫ִמּנ‬ ‫אַ ְר ֹנן‬ ‫עַ ד‬ ‫ַהר ־‬ ‫ ֶח ְרמן‬: Jordan, from the river of
Arnon unto mount Hermon;

ֱ ‫ְו ָה‬ ‫יִ ְק ְראּו‬ ‫ל ־‬

([Which] Hermon the

All the cities of the plain,

all-of cities-of the·level and·all-of the·Gilead and·all-of the·Bashan as-far-as Salchah Bashan, unto Salchah and
Edrei, cities of the kingdom
‫ְואֶ ְד ֶר ִעי‬ ‫עָ ֵרי‬ ‫ַמ ְמלֶ כֶ ת‬ ‫עג‬ ‫ַּב ָּבׁשָ ן‬ : of Og in Bashan.

ֶ ‫ִמּי‬ ‫ָה ְרפָ ִאים‬ ‫ִהּנֵה‬

For only Og king of

in Rabbath of the children

ֲ ‫ֵמ‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫־ עַ ל ־‬

. And this land, [which]

ֵ ‫לָ ֻר‬ mount Gilead, and the cities
thereof, gave I unto the

ֶ ‫ְוי‬ ‫ַהּגִ ְלעָ ד‬ ‫ְוכָ ל‬ ‫ַה ָּבׁשָ ן ־‬ ‫ַמ ְמלֶ כֶ ת‬ ‫עג‬ ‫נ ַָת ִּתי‬ ‫לַ ח ֲִצי‬ ‫ׁשֵ ֶבט‬

And the rest of Gilead,

and·rest-of the·Gilead and·all-of the·Bashan kingdom-of Og I-gave to·the·half-of tribe-of kingdom of Og, gave I unto
the half tribe of Manasseh;
‫ַה ְמנַּׁשֶ ה‬ ‫ּכֹל‬ ‫ֶח ֶבל‬ ‫ָהאַ ְר ֹּגב‬ ‫ְלכָ ל‬ ‫ַה ָּבׁשָ ן ־‬ ‫ַההּוא‬ ‫יִ ָּק ֵרא‬ all the region of Argob,
with all Bashan, which was

called the land of giants.

Jair the son of Manasseh

Jair son-of Manasseh he-took » all-of district-of Argob as-far-as boundary-of Argob unto the coasts of
Geshuri and Maachathi; and

name, Bashanhavothjair,

3:16 ‫אּובנִ י‬
ֵ ‫ְולָ ֻר‬ ‫ְולַ ּג ִָדי‬ ‫נ ַָת ִּתי‬ ‫ִמן‬ ‫ַהּגִ ְלעָ ד ־‬ ‫ְועַ ד‬ ‫ַחל ־‬
ַ ‫נ‬

And unto the Reubenites
u·l·raubni u·l·gdi nththi mn - e·glod u·od - nchl and unto the Gadites I gave
and·to·Reubenite and·to·the·Gadite I-gave from the·Gilead and·as-far-as watercourse-of from Gilead even unto the
river Arnon half the valley,
‫אַ ְר ֹנן‬
‫ּת‬ ‫ַחל‬
ַ ‫ַהּנ‬ ‫ּוגְ ֻבל‬ ‫ְועַ ד‬ ‫ַיּבֹק‬ ‫ַחל‬
ַ ‫ַהּנ‬ ‫ּגְ בּול‬ and the border even unto the
river Jabbok, [which is] the

ָ ‫ְו ָהע ֲָר‬ ‫ְו ַהּי ְַר ֵּדן‬ ‫ּוגְ ֻבל‬ ‫ִמ ִּכּנ ֶֶרת‬ ‫ְועַ ד‬ ‫יָם‬ ‫ָהע ֲָר ָבה‬

The plain also, and
u·e·orbe u·e·irdn u·gbl m·knrth u·od im e·orbe Jordan, and the coast
and·the·gorge and·the·Jordan and·boundary from·Chinnereth and·as-far-as sea-of the·gorge [thereof], from Chinnereth
even unto the sea of the
‫יָם‬ ‫ַה ֶּמלַ ח‬ ‫ַּת ַחת‬ ‫אַ ְׁשּדֹת‬ ‫ַה ִּפ ְסּגָה‬ ‫ִמזְ ָר ָחה‬ : plain, [even] the salt sea,
under Ashdothpisgah

And I commanded you at

and·I-am-minstructing »·you(p) in·the·time the·she to·to-say-of Yahweh Elohim-of·you(p) LORD your God hath given
you this land to possess it:
‫נ ַָתן‬ ‫לָ כֶ ם‬ ‫ָהאָ ֶרץ ־ אֶ ת‬ ‫ַהּז ֹאת‬ ‫ְל ִר ְׁש ָּתּה‬ ‫ֲלּוצים‬
ִ ‫ח‬ ye shall pass over armed
before your brethren the

children of Israel, all [that
he-gave to·you(p) » the·land the·this to·to-tenant-of·her ones-being-outfitted
are] meet for the war.
‫ַּתעַ ְברּו‬ ‫ִל ְפנֵי‬ ‫ֲחיכֶ ם‬
ֵ ‫א‬ ‫ְּבנֵי‬ ‫יִ ְׂש ָראֵ ל ־‬ ‫ּכָ ל‬ ‫ְּבנֵי ־‬ ‫ָחיִ ל ־‬ :

3:19 ‫ַרק‬ ‫נְ ׁשֵ יכֶ ם‬ ‫ְוטַ ְּפכֶ ם‬ ‫ּומ ְקנֵכֶ ם‬

ִ ‫י ַָד ְע ִּתי‬ ‫ִּכי‬ ‫ִמ ְקנֶה ־‬ ‫ַרב‬

But your wives, and your

but women-of·you(p) and·tot-of·you(p) and·cattles-of·you(p) I-know that cattle much ([for] I know that ye have
much cattle,) shall abide in
‫לָ כֶ ם‬ ‫י ְֵׁשבּו‬ ‫ְּבעָ ֵריכֶ ם‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫נ ַָת ִּתי‬ ‫לָ כֶ ם‬ : your cities which I have
given you;

3:20 ‫עַ ד‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫יח ־‬

ַ ִ‫יָנ‬ ‫יְ הוָה‬ ‫ֲחיכֶ ם‬
ֵ ‫לַ א‬ ‫ּכָ כֶ ם‬ ‫ְוי ְָרׁשּו‬

Until the LORD have

until which he-shall-cgive-rest Yahweh to·brothers-of·you(p) as·you(p) and·they-tenant brethren, as well as unto
you, and [until] they also
‫גַם‬ ‫ֵהם ־‬ ‫ָהאָ ֶרץ ־ אֶ ת‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫יְ הוָה‬ ‫היכֶ ם‬.ֱ
ֵ ‫א‬ ‫ֹתן‬
ֵ ‫נ‬ ‫לָ ֶהם‬ ‫ְּבעֵ ֶבר‬ possess the land which the
LORD your God hath given

[then] shall ye return every
man unto his possession,
‫ַהּי ְַר ֵּדן‬ ‫ְוׁשַ ְב ֶּתם‬ ‫ִאיׁש‬ ‫ירּׁשָ ת‬
ֻ ‫ִל‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר‬ ‫נ ַָת ִּתי‬ ‫לָ כֶ ם‬ : which I have given you.

3:21 ‫ְואֶ ת‬ ‫הׁשּוע ־‬

ִ ‫ִצּו‬ ‫ָּבעֵ ת‬ ‫ַה ִהוא‬ ‫לֵ אמֹר‬ '‫עֵ ינֶי‬ ‫ראֹת‬
ֹ ‫ָה‬

. And I commanded

‫אֵ ת‬ ‫ּכָ ל‬ ‫אֲׁשֶ ר ־‬ ‫עָ ׂשָ ה‬ ‫יְ הוָה‬ ‫היכֶ ם‬.ֱ
ֵ ‫א‬ ‫ִל ְׁשנֵי‬ ‫ַה ְּמלָ ִכים‬ ‫ָהאֵ ּלֶ ה‬ ‫ַיעֲׂשֶ ה ־ ּכֵ ן‬ hath done unto these two
kings: so shall the LORD do

3:22 ‫ל ֹא‬ ‫יראּום‬

ָ ‫ִּת‬ ‫ִּכי‬ ‫יְ הוָה‬ ‫היכֶ ם‬.ֱ
ֵ ‫א‬ ‫ַהּנִ ְל ָחם הּוא‬ ‫לָ כֶ ם‬ : ‫ס‬

Ye shall not fear them:
