SAN GREGORIO ANNEX ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN SCIENCE
SY: 2018-2019

I. INTRODUCTION

Scientific teaching involves active learning strategies to engage students in the process
of science and teaching methods that have been systematically tested and shown to reach
diverse pupils.

 Active learning: A process in which students are actively engaged in learning. It may
include inquiry-based learning, cooperative learning, or student-centered learning.
 Assessment: Tools for measuring progress toward and achievement of the learning
goals.
 Diversity: The breadth of differences that make each student unique, each cohort of
pupils unique, and each teaching experience unique. Diversity includes everything in
the classroom: the students, the instructors, the content, the teaching methods, and
the context.

II. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

A. PUPILS DEVELOPMENT

1. Provide pupils opportunities to participate actively in varied Science activities,


clubs that will develop potential skills, proper attitudes and behavior towards assigned
work/tasks.

2. Provide the pupils opportunities participate actively in all Science activities for the
enhancement of their academic performance.

3. Identify the pupils Strengths and weaknesses in doing all activities pertaining to
Science lessons.

4. Promotes Science Lessons to pupils who were having difficulties and make
Science an enjoyable subject.

B. TEACHERS DEVELOPMENT

1. Develop the teacher’s competencies in


• Identify pupils with difficulties in Science lesson
2. Re-orient teachers in the analysis of test questions, test items and computation of
the test result.

3. More seminars for the teachers teaching science in dealing with proper handling of
materials and acquaint them in the utilization of apparatus and equipment’s in Science
