What makes an effective Lead Gen Video Ad?
Best Practices
• Full Screen: The size of the ad fills up the screen real estate to make the experience more immersive to the user
and block out other distracting posts (1:1 or 4:5 aspect ratios).
• Prominent Branding: You clearly see the brand logo and/or brand cues (i.e. colors/elements) within the first 3-4
seconds, after the user’s attention has been garnered.
• Designed for Sound Off: You don’t need to have the audio turned ‘on’ to understand what the product is and who
its for.
• Service/Product Demo: It showcases the product, and/or shows a user utilizing the product, while highlighting
the benefits of it.
• CTA & Incentive to act: There is a clear CTA seen (i.e. “Download Now”) which helps to direct the user to take an
action, and gives them a reason to act with urgency (i.e. Limited Availability/Time Frame, Etc.).
