OBJECTIVES:
Equip teachers with knowledge and skills on the integration of sex education on their
lessons.
Provide comprehensive guidelines on the implementation of the school based
Learning Recovery Plan.
Enhance knowledge on the promotion of gender awareness and equality.
Appreciate a wider understanding on the significance of Psychosocial and Mental
Support System
PROCEEDINGS:
The facilitator Mrs. Shirley R. Vergara started the LAC session with the singing of
the National Anthem which was conducted by Mrs. Rowena P. Orine followed by
the opening prayer led by Mrs. Rowena R. Nonan .
The Opening Remarks was given by the Master Teacher Mr. Sande N. Alvaro then
the Principal Mrs. Armela F. Madayag added a comprehensive Welcome Speech.
The energizer was given by Mrs. Leonora D. Tadeja to boost the energy level of the
participants.
The lectures were undertaken by the following teachers :
Mrs . Angelica S. Rosario , the CSE school coordinator, talked about the Comprehensive
Sexuality Education.
While Mrs. Adora Sanctissima A. Abero , the school DRRM coordinator , elaborated the
guidelines on the implementation of the school based Learning Recovery Plan.
The last lecturer was Mrs. Gina D. Nonan , the school GAD coordinator, emphasized the
importance of Gender sensitivity and equality and the great significance of Psychosocial
support and mental awareness.
The lecturers utilized their creative PowerPoint presentations and other audio-
visual materials to enrich their delivery of their topic.
Essential questions were raised during the discussion and were addressed by each of
the LAC lecturers.
The activity ended with inspiring thoughts and insights from Miss Agustina N. Dumpit
, a grade three teacher.
