Learning Activity 2 : Posters and Banners

 Definition of posters and banners :


 A poster is one of the communication media that is
used to convey a message or information. The message
contained in a poster should be written briefly and
clearly.
 A banner is a a flag that signals something. They are
connected by a pole such as signal flags on a ship
which gives conditions or status of the ship.
 The purpose of Banner is used for advertising. Or used
as a media to promote a product, event, or service
 The generic structure of Posters:
 Header area
 Title area
 Author’s photo and address
 Main area
 Footer area
 Background
 Fonts
 The generic structure of Banners:
 Logo
 Value proposition

ideas.

IV.Learning Activity 4: Infographics

Based on Learning activity 4, we can conclude that :


 Infographics can be a beneficial mechanism to present
datain visual manner. Infographics are essentially visual
representations of information.
Commonly, they are utilized to tell stories, bring
ideas, or explore issues through a range of different
graphics. They are now widely used to improve a
reader’s understanding of a particular topic or issue. In
the traditional media such as newspapers, you can also
find infographics in many digital publishing.
Increasingly, infographics are produced by a range of
public and private sector institutions as part of
publications strategies. Infographics enables the
information to be more easily understood,a piece of
information which is previously presented in several
pages of text can be conveyed to the reader through a
single graphic.

Creating infographics not only done by hand using
simple everyday tools such as paper, pen, pencils,
markers, and rulers, but they are more often created
using computer software, which is result much better.
