SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WEEK

PLAN OF ACTIVITIES

Background/ Rationale:
The well-being and holistic development of students are of paramount
importance in any educational institution. In recognition of this, we have organized the
Senior High School (SHS) Week, an exciting and enriching event aimed at fostering the
overall growth and well-being of our students. This event serves as a platform to
engage, empower, and celebrate our SHS students, providing them with opportunities to
enhance their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills.
The proposed plan given below was based on the result of the survey given to
the Senior High School students and alumni. The details were consulted with the
subject group head and subject area coordinators.

Theme:
(1) “Ikaw at Ako ang BIDA: Senior High School in Action: BEING More and DOING More”
(2) “Ikaw at Ako ang BIDA: Building Individuals with Determination and Achievement
THE SHS WEEK”

Objectives:
1. To provide opportunities for students to actively engage in different learning
experiences through skills battle.
2. To promote health and wellness for students to learn and interact with their peers,
teachers, and other members of the school community through funrun, and Zumba.
3. To develop and awaken social responsibility and community service through
“community pantry” adaptation and coastal clean-up.
4. To foster leadership skills by involving students from planning, implementing, and
evaluating the week’s activity.
