SCHOOL CONTEXT
It is a 55 years old school settled in Naucalpan, an urban zone with middle high income, so there is no poverty. Most of the parents are
professionals. There is public transportation and roads near the school although most of the students are driven to school after having
breakfast. The school is in possibility of providing the transportation service too.
The school is a three-story building, with kindergarten, primary, secondary, and high school. There is a room for every grade equipped
with a board, projector, computer, speakers, flat screen with internet service. There is a water filter where students can refill their water
bottles. There is an art room, computers room, science lab, event room, canteen, coordination/teacher’s lounge, and yard. There are
toilets for both genders in every floor with hand soap, TP, and hand paper towels as well as running water, sewers, electricity. Faculty
is complete although it is small communication among its members is good and close.
Students have access to Wi-Fi, locker, and an individual school bench.

CULTURAL BACKGROUND
Since the school is in an urban area, the main holidays that are celebrated are Día de Muertos/ Halloween, Christmas, Mexican
Independence Day. It is a lay school so there is no particular religion practiced, most of the students do not practice the religion they
profess.
Nearly all students have access to cable TV, many of their parents have knowledge of the English language, some of them travel enough
through-out the country and some of them abroad. There are several foreign students, therefore interculturality is promoted. Many of
them practice a sport and have extracurricular activities like dancing or music lessons. Their main way to get distracted is strolling at
the nearest mall.
