This treasurer is responsible for providing loans to
students who are not financially stable by giving them loans starting
from the second year. These loans are offered in the form of Jarir
Bookstore installment plans or renting lockers for an annual fee of 100
Riyals. The student must deposit the money herself into NCB account
number:

The deposit slip must be handed over to the employee in charge.

The printed materials at the Library shelves are


Organized according to the Library of Congress
Classification plan, which classify human knowledge
to subject sectors expressed through alphabetical
letters. Library includes materials that are classified
starting from the letter A till the letter Z, and
Classification number (Call Number) is placed and
stick on each printed material in order to inferred to
its place (location) on the shelf, after completing
the electronic search of the printed material.

 E-Resources: These resources will direct you to the UD library E-Resources
Portal where you can search all electronic databases that UD has subscribed
to.
 Summon: This federated search engine will help you simultaneously search
all printed and electronic resources at the libraries of Imam AbdulRahman
Bin Faisal University. Abstracts or the full text of articles and E-books can be
viewed. Summon can suggest the most relevant databases that best suit
your research needs.
 Library catalog-OPAC: This helps you find your resources from books and E-
books with a link for full text display.
 Institutional repository: This is an effective tool for searching the
publications of faculty of Imam AbdulRahman Bin Faisal University, including
theses and research papers published in both international and regional
journals.

 Not allowed to eat or drink inside the library, except at the cafeteria.
 Commitment to full quite mode inside the library, and to set phones on
silent mode.
 Upon completion of reading books, kindly (please) leave them on the
reading table.
 Laptops can be used inside the library upon obtaining permission from
responsible librarian.
 Pre-Reservation of the discussion and study rooms is set through
responsible librarian.

The University Counseling Center (UCC) is dedicated to providing high quality mental
health services that supports students’ emotional, personal, social, developmental, and
academic
concerns. To this end, UCC provides individual and group counseling, academic counseling,
career counseling, crisis intervention/emergency services, outreach programs, psychological
assessment, and consultation. UCC staff keeps up with the current counseling
practice/outcome
research, and produce scholarly work that contributes toward the improvement of the UCC
services as well as the field of counseling.
