    Classroom: EC-1 Lesson: Longitude and Latitude
    A. Introduction/ Lesson Objective

    Students will identify the difference between latitude and longitude. They will also find on a world map/
    globe the location identified by a pair of map/globe coordinates.

    B. Materials:
    1. Overhead projector 2. pencils
    3. Computer 4. cookery (teacher)

    C. Vocabulary to learn:
    Longitude Latitude Equator Meridian
    Prime Meridian Geography Globe Map

    D. D. Procedures/Steps:
    Use PPT to discuss about the globe/map. Teach the students how to locate a country using latitude and
    longitude.

    E. Detailed class time arrangement:


     1st period-40 min. (1:30pm - 2:10pm)
    Ask students what they know about the longitude and latitude. Correct any misconceptions if there are any.
    Explain these lines and help students further understand the concepts by giving them some hands-on
    practice. 
     2nd period-40 min. (2:20pm - 3:00pm)
    Pass a card to each student and have them find and identify the location on a world map.

     3rd period-40 min. (3:10pm - 3:50pm)

    In this period, students will make their own globe using a styro ball.
