Life is a perspective and for me, if a human being has access to school, clean water, food, proper health care,
that is the basis of human rights. Cleanliness and order are not matters of instinct; they are matters
of education, and like most great things, you must cultivate a taste for them. – Benjamin Disraeli
August 15 Day 2- Kick-Off and Cleanig the Offices/ Faculty Rooms
If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision
pulls you. – Steve Jobs
August 16, Day 3- Repainting and Repairing
Painting is also a huge part of culture and a medium of art that immortalizes the moments it captures. Seeing
the beautiful works of masters in person, or even in books, gives us a chance to expand our minds through
their creations
August 17, Day 4- Recycling of Materials and Brigada Reading for Upcoming Grade 7
We live in a disposable society. It's easier to throw things out than to fix them. We even give it a name - we call
it recycling. If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled, or
composted, then it should be restricted, designed or removed from production.
Who doesn’t love getting lost in a book? Reading not only opens up doors and inspires, it also serves as a
timeless education for many. Administering the battery or fluency test in reading around the classroom can
encourage students to start a new book series or learn something new.
August 18, Day 5- Replanting
“It is in your replanting or transplanting that you can do some of your best work and expand your roots to grow,
thrive, and flourish. Whether you have needed to change places physically or metaphorically, replanting and
putting down new roots will encourage new possibilities.”― Susan C. Young
