SKYWATCH TRC497 - MOD F

Effectivity: TRC497 P/N 805-10800-xxx

Reason: A production change to improve reliability of the TRC497 RF Receiver.

Compliance: Optional.

Description: MOD F replaces a transistor on the RF Receiver PCB. Future production units will
incorporate MOD F.

Approval: This Service Bulletin contains no modification information that revises the approved
configuration and therefore does not require governmental or other regulatory agency
approval.

Manpower: Removal and replacement of the TRC497 should take .5 hours. Time is not reimbursable
by L-3 Avionics Systems.

Materials: N/A. This upgrade is a factory modification only.

Units can be modified only at the factory. MOD F may be incorporated into units returned for repair.
