NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF 3rd QUARTER NATIONWIDE

SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL
(NSED)

In accordance with the conduct of 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous
Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2022, the drill conducted for the preparedness of pupils and
faculty if the disaster occur if the incident happened during class hour or school
days. Gonzales Elementary School cooperated, supported and conducted the said
drill last December 13, 2022 at exactly 7:30 in the morning.
While the busy pupils are on their respected rooms. The bell ring aloud while
pupils knows that there is an earthquake. DUCK, COVER and HOLD was observed
during the drill, “Laging Bida ang Handa” headed by Mrs. Imelda P. Lumbres, school
head and School DRRM Coordinator, Ms. Jenilyn Maiquez refreshed the mind of
pupils about the drill, what to do if the earthquake occur in the school . The goal is to
promote regular disaster preparedness, response and recovery exercises is seen by
each participant. The objective to be prepare, responsive, and recovery observed
which really helps to all to be more attentive and stay calm during earthquake.
The drill is successfully done on the respective designated places in the
school. It is participated by 244 pupils and 10 school personnel. At the end of the
drill, the students together with their teachers became more attentive,
knowledgeable, and alert on how to be prepared from that kind of disaster.
