Danilo lives on a farm. He lives with his parents in a little nipa


house. Danilo has an elder sister named Nora. Danilo and Nora help
their parents. They help take care of their animals. They have a
carabao, a horse, a goat and some chickens. Father takes care of the
horse. Danilo takes care of the carabao. Mother takes care of the
chickens. Nora takes care of the goat. Their animals are all fat and
healthy. Each one takes care of his animal very well.

Yumbiya is a term used by Manobo for a palm tree.


The tree usually grows in a marshland. It can be utilized in
several ways. The leaves can serve as roofing for houses.
The soft and young main trunk can be eaten, and the sticky
sap can be used as glue or paste.
