INTRODUCTION

Many people in today's society have needs and wants that they wish to be
satisfied. The Convenience store is the answer in order to serve the local residence
or customers by selling items to provide there needs and wants such as beverages
and items that benefits them for everyday life and of course to satisfy every
consumer's demand in the neighborhood.

Convenient stores can satisfy customers or local inhabitants, which is why these
types of stores are frequently the community's gathering place and offer public
services to the area's citizens. The advantage of this convenient store over other
stores is that customers can save time because they can quickly obtain the things
they need and want without having to go through a lengthy purchasing process.

The proposed name of the business made by us is "S-Mart", it is a Convenience

store willing to serve consumers. S-Mart will be operating 24/7 (twenty-four hours a
day) at it's location in Plaza Caba, La Union. Reijah Aglubat, the proprietor/manage,
is a grade 12 Einstein working student at Caba National High School who is
committed to making money and meeting the requirements of his customer's
demands or needs. The Owner shall register the business with the relevant Local
Government Unit (LGU) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) The business
will be set up as a sole proprietorship. Convenient Store is the focus of the
enterprise. The company will occupy a site next to the Caba Municipal Office along
the highway. The target market includes students, teachers, office employees, and
residents of the neighborhood, particularly those with numerous needs. The existing
zoning code and other applicable rules and regulations prescribes that convenient
stores and other similar establishments and places of amusement must be built or
erected at least 200 meters away from churches, schools, hospitals, and other
government offices. These requirements must be strictly followed.

OBJECTIVES

The S-Mart Convenience store aspires to be one of the most marketable stores in
Caba, La Union, and nearby Caba towns, particularly Aringay and Bauang. The
proponent aims to generate a profit and say in business for a long time. With this, we
have set several objectives for operating and establishing the “S-Mart”convenience
store.

1. To earn profit
2. To satisfy our customers by providing the best quality products at affordable
prices.
3. To know the fair return on the capital invested by the owner
4. To provide the needs of the people around the store when it comes to drinks,
food,
medicines, hygiene kits, toiletries, and the like
5. To offer or provide job

II. MARKETING ASPECT

A large factor in determining the success and profits in a convenience store is

the customer satisfaction. When there is customer loyalty, the customer retention
rate is high and the business result tends to follow. Without the customer, it is
impossible for any business to sustain itself and to continue to have its operations.
Providing the goods and services that the customer wants in the packaging they
want in retail outlets which are conveniently to use or consume and well placed. It is clear
about customer’s satisfaction is that customer most likely to appreciate the goods and
services that they buy if they are made to feel special. This occurs when they feel that the
goods and services that they buy have been specially produced for them or for people
like them. The retail changes over time and a smart retailer should work towards making
business destination itself.

Convenience store serve the entire purchasing population of it's geographic

area but focuses on customers who need to purchase items outside of normal
working hours such as swing shift employees and quick shoppers looking for snacks
and related items. One of the benefit of convenience stores is that they are often
open 24 hours a day, which can be appealing to people who need to buy items
outside of normal shopping hours.

In addition to busy people, convenience stores also target people who live in
rural areas or who do not have access to a traditional grocery store. Since many
convenience stores are open 24/7, this market also includes people who need to buy
items outside of normal shopping hours. The target market for convenience stores
includes people looking for a quick and easy shopping experience, those who live in
rural areas, and those who are looking for items that they can’t find at traditional
grocery stores. Finally, people who are looking for a one stop shop and do not want
to lose time going to multiple specialty stores will often pick up what they need at
convenience stores.
