Background:
Many Engineers don’t know how to test all component of washing machine from the PCB of
Samsung WM And what will be the Voltage of various Jack Points. Because of lack of knowledge
engineers replaces parts without testing and verifying. Which leads to repeat repair and part
consumption.

Purpose:
To diagnosis the fault and components test without opening the whole body of Samsung TLWM

Guideline:

PCB TEST

For testing PCB in Samsung TLWM we need to check the voltage of various points as
shown below figure.

1. First connect power cord to PCB and turn ON supply.

2. Check 220VAC at connector as per shown in figure.
3. Then check the 12 v and 5 V DC with respective COM point in SMPS section .
4. If it is all above voltages are OK then we have to confirm that PCB is GOOD. .

COMPONENT TEST

1. Main Motor Test

a) Connect Power plug
b) Short white and yellow wire from the Jack as shown in below fig.

MOTOR ANTI CLOCKWISE ROTATION CHECK .

c) Then take a connection from Black wire and touch the same in red wire in motor jack
as shown in below fig.
Motor will rotate Anticlockwise.

d)Take the connection from black wire of pcb jack and touch the same in Blue wire of motor jack.
The motor will run clockwise.as shown in below fig .

2. DRAIN MOTOR CHECK

e)Take Black wire connection from Input Jack of pcb touch the same in Black wire of 6 pin jack as
shown in below fig the Drain motor will work.

3. INLET VALVE NO 1 CHECK

f) Take the Black wire connection from Input Jack of Main Pcb.

Then touch the same in Blue wire of 6 pin Jack as shown tn below fig.
Feed Valve 1 will work properly.

4.INLET VALVE NO 2 CHECK

g) Take the Black wire connection from Input Jack of Main Pcb.
Then touch the same in Gray wire of 6 pin Jack as shown tn below fig.
Feed Valve 2 will work properly.

 5. SPIN TEST

h) Take the Black wire connection from Input Jack of Main Pcb.

First touch the same Black wire in the 6 pin jack and after 2 sec

Simontenosly touch in Blue wire in motor jack as shown in below fig.

( Black + Black ….+ Blue )

can check the Spin operation .
