Background:
Many times, input water pressure is LOW at customer end & due to low water pressure WP shows
error or not functions to protect booster pump and UV from dry run. For this reason, customer logs
complaints repeatedly.
To escape from repeat complaints, many times it has been observed that engineers try to bypass
LPS (Low Pressure switch) so that WP don’t understand water pressure is low or not. And
because of this bypassing of LPS many times Booster pump or UV or connector burns in case of
low water pressure.

ज्यादा तर ग्राहक के तरफ पानी का प्रेशर काम ममलता है और काम प्रेशर के कारन वाटर प्युररफायर एरर ददखता है
या काम नह ीं करता ताकक बिना पानी से िस्
ू टर पींप और UV ख़राि न हो सके. इसी वजहसे ग्राहक िार िार मशकायत
दजज करता है .

िार िार मशकायत से िचनेके मलए काफी िार ये दे खा गया की इींजीननयर LPS (लौ प्रेशर स्स्वच) को िाईपास करता है .
LPS स्स्वच को िाईपास करने कारन िूस्टर पींप या UV या कनेक्टर जानेकी घटनाये सामने आती है .

Purpose:
To educate engineer never bypass LPS switch at customer end. And try to educate customer to
increase water pressure or to install booster pump at input side. This will resolve problem
permanently and product also will not get defect.

इींजीननयर को सीखा ने के हे तु की LPS स्स्वच कभी भी िाईपास नह ीं करना चाह ये. ग्राहक को समझना होगा की
पानी का प्रेशर िढ़ाये या िस्
ू टर पींप इनस्टॉल करा ले. इसके कारन ये सम्मय हमेशा की मलए दरू हो जाएगी और
प्रोडक्ट भी ख़राि नह ीं होगा.

Guideline:
➢ LPS switch must not bypass while service call at customer end.
➢ Educate customer to increase water pressure at required level.
➢ Suggest customer to install booster pump at input side to increase water pressure.

Field Observation :

1. Water purifier breakdown due to PCB jack burnt

2. Machine not functioning

Root Cause Analysis:

1. PCB wire connector ( Jack ) burnt due to more heat ( High Amps )
2. High Amps due to Pump –RO working continuesly even without water
3. Pump continuesly working due to LPS switch bypassed by Engineer

CAPA ( Corrective Action & Preventive Action ):

➢ No LPS switch bypassed in system.

➢ This is applicable for all models & Brands
