Construction of Two-Classroom Building for Junior High School

Accomplishment Report

Classrooms are crucial element of learning environment in every schools and

schools have a legal duty of care to ensure the health and safety of teachers and learners.
It must provide a classroom conducive to learning so that the academic performance of
the learners will not be affected. It must be a child-friendly classroom that promotes the
well-being of an individual where it considers the safety as top priority inside the school
premises. The conditions of the school directly impact the performance of the learners.
Also, it tends to improve the attendance and interest of learners and teachers in learning.
For the same reason, having a good school classroom building plays essential role for
learners’ to achieve the expected academic results.

The school will open new grade level this academic school year 2023-2024 for
junior high school and classroom is one of our main concerns. With this, Maragatas
Integrated School, headed by the School Principal initiated to address the existing
problem of the school through attending Barangay Sessions and Sangguniang Bayan
Sessions and come up with the construction of new building with two classrooms
building for junior high school which brings so much help for the school to
accommodate the increasing population of learners. Also, this project is such a great
blessing to our school as our activity center will solely be used for school activities and
other purposes and not as a classroom. Furthermore, this project can be the reason to
encourage students to thrive academically and remind them to pursue and fulfill their
dreams.

Thus, the new constructed school building will serve as an avenue for the
learners to be developed holistically in order to compete globally. The two-classroom
building will be expected to turn over to the school by the first week of October this
year 2023 and expected that the successful completion of this project signifies the
school’s commitment in providing better educational facilities as they said “The school
facility is much more than a passive container of the educational process, it is rather an
integral component of the conditions of learning.”
