MINUTES OF THE MEETING


I.NATURE OF ACTIVITY: GRADE 10 MEETING
Title of Meeting: GRADE 10 PARENTS/ GUARDIAN MEETING
Date: May 26, 2022
Time: 2:00 PM
Venue: Marbel 7 National High School- SH Gym

II.AGENDUM:
 Moving-up ceremony meeting.

III.PRELIMINARIES:
 Time started: 2:00
 The meeting\ was called to order by Ma’am Mary Jane M. Casilagan, Grade 10
year level chairman.
 Opening Prayer was led by Maam Glory b. Biongco, Grade 10-Charity adviser.
 Next, was Checking of Attendance/ Registration facilitated by Grade 10 Advisers.
 Opening Remarks/Message was delivered by Sir Noe A. barluado, Senior high
School assistant Principal

IV.ORIENTATION PROPER/DISCUSSION OF AGENDA:


 Ma’am Casilagan thanked the parents/ guardian with their positive response by
attending the meeting. She ended her opening remarks by encouraging all
parents/guardians to help and support the school to make this program a
successful one. She also added words of acknowledgement for their presence that
indeed gave inspiration to the school.
 The orientation proper started at 8:30 am led by Sir Noe Barluado, Asst. SH
Principal. Sir Noe started the discussion by reminiscing the start of pandemic
which is the reason why do students have to stay at home and instead of going to
school to study, they have to do it alone or with the guidance of their parents and
guardian. He also added because of that scenario, the DepEd decided to return the
mode of delivering education to children from modular to progressive face to face
given that the school will follow the guidelines of IATF in conducting the
progressive face to face classes. Sir Noe, discussed one by one the necessary
requirements needed to be accomplished so that the school will be allowed to
conduct face to face. He also discussed about waiver that the parents need to
submit if they will allow their children to join, he explained to the parents the
importance of waiver in the process of operation. Also, he explained the capacity
of rooms that only limits to 20 students. Sir Noe re-iterated that this face to face
classes is a voluntary and not compulsory to all students. He also announced that

there will be a re-orientation for those who opted to join the face to face classes.
He ended his discussion with the strong adherence to the safety protocol of the
IATF upon opening of the progressive face to face.
 The open forum started by 9:15 having Ma’am Cristy Lyn B. Tianchon as the
moderator. The first question was raised by Mrs. Atubang, if the class is whole
day, Sir Noe answered her that the class will only take half day (morning session
only) based on the guidelines. Mrs. Fuentes raised a follow up question, asking
when the class will start. This was answered by Maam Casilagan that the tentative
dates will be soonest as possible as long as all the necessary requirement were
met.
 The next question was raised by Mr. Cabalan. He asked about the sectioning of
classes. This question was addressed again by Ma’am Casilagan explaining that
every room or section must only limit to 20 students. She added that the
sectioning was based on the TLE of the students since the teacher will not be
allowed to expose more than one hour and there will be scheduling of subjects.
 Mrs. Baroa raised another concern regarding those students who did not opt to
attend face to face. This concern was addressed by sir Noe that all students who
did not join the face to face will continue their modules at home and if they have
their queries they can contact their subject teachers for assistance.
 The open forum ended at 10: 30 and then followed by a closing remark of Maam
Glory B. Biongco, Grade 10 Charity adviser, acknowledging the presence and effort
of the parents to come in school. She emphasized that their innate desire to
support the education of their children were highly appreciated and acknowledge.
She also added that their unending support to the school adds strength to the
teachers and staffs of the school to do their best as they could in building better
future of their children.

V.SYNTHESIS OF DISCUSSION/AGREEMENTS:
 The school will adhere to the safety protocols mandated by IATF to ensure the
safety and wellness of the students during the progressive face-to-face classes.
 The school guarantees that they will do their best as they could in the preparation
of the face-to-face class.
 The grade 10 students will be the one who will participate to this program
provided that they will signify their waiver to participate or not to participate
regardless of being fully vaccinated or not.
 Their will be a second orientation to the parents and students before the opening
of the class.
