PROCEDURES
Introductory Activity  SETTING THE MOOD: (Review of the past lesson)
Time Frame: 5 mins.  The teacher will ask the learners:
o Based from the lesson yesterday, what are the
different components of physical fitness?
o What abilities do these components composed of?

Activity
Time Frame:
20 mins.  GROUP ACTIVITY:

o The teacher will divide the class into four groups.


o Each group will bring the equipment/materials outside.
o Perform the Physical Fitness Test (Teacher will
decide which Physical Fitness Test he/she will
conduct to the students)
o Let the learners record the results on their notebooks.
o After 20 minutes, instruct learners to be back inside
the classroom.

Analysis  EFFECTIVE DISCUSSION:


Time Frame:
15 mins. Each group will discuss their outputs using these guide questions:
o How are you going to evaluate your schoolmates’
results?
o What were their strengths and weaknesses?
o How did you handle your schoolmates’ differences
while conducting the activity?
o What have you developed from the activity?

Abstraction  BRAINSTORMING:
Time Frame:
5 mins. The teacher will ask:
o Based from the results of your schoolmates’ physical
activity, how would you help them improve/maintain
their health?
o How are you going to encourage them to perform
physical activities at home?
o What will be your goal after knowing the results of
your and their physical activity?

Application  SLOGAN MAKING:


Time Frame: -Using the same group let the learners make a
10 mins. slogan promoting physical fitness and
wellness.
- Choose one representative to present the
slogan to the class.
Assessment Test: Pen and Paper Test(Formative Test)
Time Frame:
5 mins. Let the learners fill out the table on page 9 of the learners’ module, “Family
Connection”
Assignment Conduct physical fitness assessment of your family and record results in your

Concluding Activity The teacher will ask:
