I. CONTENT:
A. CONTENT STANDARD: The learners demonstrate understanding of recreation in optimizing one’s
health as a habit; as requisite for physical activity assessment performance,
and as a career opportunity.
B. PERFORMANCE The learners lead recreational events with proficiency and confidence resulting
STANDARD: in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.
C. LEARNING Self-assesses health-related fitness (HRF) status, barriers to physical activity
COMPETENCIES: assessment participation and one’s diet.
D. SPECIFIC LEARNING After going through this module, you are expected to:
OUTCOMES: 1. Define the meaning of recreation.
2. Identify the different kinds of recreation.
3. Grasp the importance of one’s diet towards health-related fitness status,
barriers and recreation.
4. Make a healthy menu that follows a balanced diet.
5. Design a recreational activities for one week for you and your family.

 Group 1 will perform role playing on the importance of recreation help achieve healthy-related fitness
status.
 Group 2 will make a pie chart and menu of a balance diet meal.
 Group 3 will make a one-week recreational plan.
