1. Its purpose is for the audience to easily remember the remittance center that they are advertising. It
is very effective since the child easily remembers how to spell the center so it won’t be difficult for the
adult to find it. The message is constructed from the child’s memory and recites it in a competition
though his spelling his wrong he still express the message.

2. The lifestyles involved are those of the people who send and receive money and things. The ad only
shows that they received money but the remittance center also send and receive parcels.

3. The ad will be easily remembered, but it also shows that the kid got the spelling wrong and might
mislead other kids of how to spell “remittance”.

4. The purpose of the text is to advertise a remittance center. The target audiences are the adults far
from their families. It is created to advertise the remittance center in a way to make it easy to
remember.

5. It used a spelling bee contest of a child. It won’t only be popular to kids but also the adults. It is very
effective and efficient even it is only a short advertisement. Another way to present the message might
be through a loved one that needs money as soon as possible then they use the remittance center to
send money and love. The ad might mislead children on how to spell correctly.

1. It shows the importance of communication. People usually rely on technology especially when they
need to contact someone from afar. The message was expressed through the misery of a lover.

2. People in working environment needs to be updated everytime since they are always busy. The time
he last called was missing. It is important to show the last time he called.

3. People who don’t usually use gadgets might be left behind and become outdated. Others might
misunderstand it when he said “panay tawag mo ah?” How come he isn’t updated about the marriage if
he already calls a lot?

4. Its purpose is to entertain while presenting the ad. Filipinos like this type of ad and is easy to retain in
memory. It is also express some true-to-life experience.

5. The techniques used are making the ad light, funny and depressing at the same time. The theme is
also effective showing how we should act before its too late. Adding some time-lapse like fast forward or
flashback would’ve been helpful.
MCDO FRIES

1. Its purpose is to inform customers that the fries are very affordable. Though it is not very advisable for
children to date early, it still shows the purpose of the ad.

2. It looks like first love or puppy love, but children focus on that and should focus on their studies first. I
think parent supervision is still needed in this advertisement.
3. I consider the fries are very affordable and children are able to enjoy it with their own money.

4. The target audience of the text is everyone of any age but this ad specifically encourage children to
buy too.

5. It will be much appreciated if the parents are involved in the ad. It is good and effective but has
disadvantage on the value of being a child. Dating would be much more convenient on the teens or
adults.
